We surpassed our fundraising goal of $5000!

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to everyone involved in making our 6th annual Scotch Tasting Evening a huge success! It was again a sold-out event that successfull surpassed our fundraising goal with a net fundraising total of $5300. Every year our scotch night gets better and more successful and we could not do this with out the support of those who attend and our event sponsors and generous auction donors.  We hope you will return next year and let us create another enjoyable night you.

A very specical thank you to Keith Scott for returning for a 6th year as our host and for generously donating, from his private collection a very rare bottle of Bowemore1989 and a Whisky Shop Advant Collection to the evenings auction and raffle. These items along with a special addition of a box of 24 authentic Montecristo No. 4 Cuban cigars donated by fellow AWS member Vern Cunningham and a bottle of Highland Park Valfather donated by Downsizing Diva, helped us raise $1770 toward the evening's goal! As an additional surprise for attendees, Keith donated a 6th sample of MaCallan Edition No. 5 to everyone's delight.

We wanted to extend an additional thank you to the members of the Aurora Whisky Society who helped promote our event through their extensive channels, showed up early to help us set up the event and stayed afterwards to help us clean up from the event. Your help and support was greatly appreciated and helped make the evening run smoothly. Thank you!

Lastly but not least importantly, our event would not have been the success it was without the support of our generous sponsors. Thank you to our Table Sponsors: Applied Systems Technology Inc. and Sorley and Still Barristers & Solicitors; Scotch Sponsors: Downsizing Diva and Aurora Whiskey Society and our Media Sponsor Joanne Witt at Snapd Richmond Hill for taking our event photos. We are fortunate to have community partners like them supporting great causes in our community.

Thank you for your continued support of CHATS- Community & Home Assistance to Seniors.
