The Home Adaptation and Maintenance Program is based out of the CHATS’ Rural Office in Bradford, Ontario, and has helped over 2,100 clients in Northern York Region and South Simcoe age safely in their own homes.

The Hoarding and De-cluttering Program seeks to aid York Region older adults (aged 55-plus or those with an age related condition) with low to moderate income, who are living in poor environmental conditions, and are at risk of losing their tenancy.

When you experience a fall, medical issue, or other emergency, every second counts. If you are alone, delayed medical care can jeopardize your recovery and your medical independence. The Philips Lifeline Medical Alert Service provides simple, fast access to help 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

CHATS Telephone Reassurance program provides older adults with regular telephone security checks by CHATS’ volunteers. Regular contact promotes safety and security.
