CHATS Information is Now More Accessible!
CHATS now have a number items from our Resources and Tips section of the website translated into Farsi, Italian, Russian and Traditional Chinese. Thanks to a grant awarded by the Government of Ontario's Ministry of Immigration and Citizenship, we can start the process of providing translated content for our clients and the communities we serve. In doing so we strive to be a greater source of vital information for Seniors and Caregivers in York Region South Simcoe.
CHATS is pleased to announce that we have received Three-Year Accreditation with CARF. This is the highest level of accreditation awarded by this international standards organization. In order to achieve this level, CHATS went through a rigorous peer review process and was able to demonstrate to a team of surveyors, its commitment to offering programs and services that are measurable, accountable and of the highest quality.
CARF accreditation is indicative of CHATS’ commitment to excellence and dedication to improving the quality of life for our clients and caregivers. For more information about the accreditation process, please visit the CARF website at www.carf.org.
The survey will be open until May 4th, 2018
We invite all caregivers, clients, and residents to fill out the survey below on behalf of the Central LHIN. Your experiences with the health care system, and ideas for how we can acheive living healthier lives in our homes and community are important to the development of their 3 year Integrated Health Services Plan.
The feedback received will provide critical insights on the Central LHIN's strengths and opportunities and will be used in discussions on how to strengthen patient-centred care at both the regional and local community level.
