Join CHATS' 3rd Annual Virtual Walk for Wellness!

During the week of January 14 to 20, you can walk your way to wellness and raise funds for CHATS by participating in the 3rd annual CHATS Virtual Walk for Wellness.

All you commit is the time and energy it takes to walk 10,000 steps per day or 50,000 steps in one week - and because this walk is “virtual” – each walker controls when and where they walk… inside, outside, at home or away, whatever works best for you.

This year’s goal is to walk a total of 4,000 km., ”virtually” arriving in New Orleans in time for the launch of Mardi Gras 2012.   Our fundraising target is to raise $25,000 to support CHATS programs and services.

How can you help?  Participate, or pledge a participant! Challenge your friends, family, co-workers and yourself to kick start the New Year by joining in.

Each participant will receive a CHATS pedometer to track their steps during the week. The pedometer is theirs to keep after the walk. Past participants that re-join the walk AND convince a friend to participate in this year’s walk, will receive a special recruitment gift at the end of the event. Each participant that completes the walk and turns in their pledge money will also receive a CHATS gym tote bag to keep.
