Local company donates to Transportation Program
More seniors will be able to get to and from medical appointments, grocery stores, pharmacies and other places, thanks to a donation from PACE Credit Union.
The donation includes the lease of two vans, which will assist with meeting the transportation needs of CHATS clients. The demand for transportation is growing -- four years ago, CHATS provided about 26,000 drives per year, while last year, close to 69,000 were provided.
