CHATS makes it easier for you to live independently and safely in your home, through its Home Adaptation and Maintenance Program.
Following a free home safety assessment, recommendations are made to help improve your quality of life. Adaptations can include grab bars, ramps, stair lifts, handrails and more. Maintenance services can include fall and spring yard clean-up, snow removal, summer lawn care, heavy-duty cleaning, eavestrough and exterior window cleaning, and more. Subsidies are available to help cover the costs.
