CHATS’ Virtual Walk for Wellness raises $20,000!
Our sincere thanks to all participants, sponsors and volunteers for your contribution to making our 2011 “Virtual Walk for Wellness” a success.
Through the combined efforts of our event participants (who collectively walked over 4,000km in one week!), our event sponsors, and the many generous donations we received for our silent auction, we raised over $20,000 for CHATS programs and services. Fierce bidding, lots of laughs, and shared stories created a day to remember for all attendees.
Next year we hope to motivate more individuals to take steps to raising funds and awareness for the seniors and caregivers in our community, ultimately helping CHATS to enhance our existing programs and launch new programs to address the needs of our aging population.
